Design of the façade renovation of a locally protected building. Historical research of the property and identification of its original colour were also part of the design process.
The building was commissioned by lawyer Dr. János Mónus, who appointed local building contractor Péter Kruszlicz to carry out the design and construction; the building permit was granted in 1906. The building was later affected by nationalisation and converted into approximately seven rental flats. Its original colour was pale green; however, due to a later terracotta and yellow repainting, it became widely known in those colours.
